In Japan, these rescues are usually free of charge.
But there is an important truth you must understand:

■ Emergency and Rescue Services Are NOT Free Overseas
In many countries, emergency services come with a high price.

Ambulance fees often range from $1,000 to $1,400+Europe (Germany, France, etc.)
Mountain rescue and emergency transport can cost hundreds or thousands of euros
Japan’s free rescue system is not the global standard.

「困ったら無料で助けてもらえる」という日本の仕組みは、世界では例外的な善意です。
■ 性善説は、善意を守るためにこそ限界がある

それでも登る。
そして危険になったら救助を呼ぶ。
これは「不運」ではなく、自己責任を軽視した行為です。
